    vbulletin is easy to code and configure ... also seo friendly , but costs too much ... phpBB sucks but free :)

    vBulletin is the best forum script. If you think to buy it, you also should to buy vBSEO. vBulletin + vBSEO + Content = Money

    I think that VB is the best but at a price but i like phpBB also as this is great to start out with but also i have to say with some of the great templates and add on that are around one can build a fantastic forum and some are massive sites and the good thing is that if you want to move up to the VB platform you can use the import facilty in VB to upload most of your stuff.
