i Currently have my site "mysite.com" hosted at Hostican .
    mysite.com domain is from Namecheap.com.

But now i wish to create a blogger blog using some subdomain of mysite.com like: blog.mysite.com

I am very confused on this .
I am trying to get this done from last 12 hrs .

    Problem :

For using subdomain on blogger i wil need to create a subdomain on namecheap.com , for this i wil need to transfer my dns back to namecheap.
But after doing this my name servers for Hostican are sure to change so mysite.com will not work !!!

    plz help me out.

2 seconds of search on the Hostican site found your answer
    http://www.hostican.com/support/tutorialmovies.php

Scroll down to "Creating a Subdomain in Cpanel"

In fact, if Hostican support Fantastico, you can install wordpress (not sure about blogger, never used it) on a subdomain right from cpanel...

You do NOT need to change DNS for this. Hope you didn't.

When in doubt, search your host providor's website. If you can't find the answer, email their support
    :)

    Well, the idea is:
Get the IP of Hostican DNS server.
For domain set DNS server at namecheap.
At namecheap create A record for domain pointing IP of Hostican DNS.
Then create CNAME record for subdomain pointing to ghs.google.com.
You need to set also www. pointers, it depens on which for you use.
If there are problems with namecheap try to use free DNS service.

    Some ideas on rum's webmastering.

But, of course if Hostican allows you to set subdomain's CNAME to ghs.goolgle.com from CPANEL, you can keep the old settings.

but why would you use a free blogger account when you could have your site on a hosted account (which are so cheap now days) and have full and total control of it? *boggle*

I rarely buy from freely hosted blogs. More authority from top level domains. FYI

    setup subdomain through control panel.

cpanel will create the necessary dns records automagically

    enter ftp details into blogger.

    publish your posts

    its that easy
