    Alright, I'm interested in buying a forum, possibly more than one. I have a small budget, but go ahead and post and I'll take a look.

    It'd be best if it's active with members, because I can make my own forum. I'm looking for something active - though I'll consider inactive forums pertaining to the below topics as well (for a lower price).

    The forum software doesn't matter (though prefferably free such as phpbb - if paid, vbulletin is best)

    Forums I'm interested in;

    - a forum related to writing (such as prose, poetry, markets, grammer, etc)
    SEMrush
    - a teen related forum or a "general" forum (topics such as dating, movies, philosophy, etc.)

    - a "tech" forum (with topics such as programming, web design, video games, graphic artististry, etc)

    Thanks in advanced-

    I have a forum site. Ringtoneforums.com. It has some pr and is using VB. I have never had ads on it So i have noclue what kind of revenue it would bring in. The vb is paid for and totally undeveloped.

    I dont like to beat around the bush so I will tell you I would sell it for 5,000$ and not less just because that is what I feel it is worth based on my experience with that market.

    hmmm...

    my budget is, as I said, small. $450 and under.

    And I've pretty much given up on buying one thing - I'll have to try to start my own. Unless someone has a forum related only to writing, teens, or general tech, I'm not really interested.

    Lpspider the owner of teenagewriters.com e-mailed me willing to sell his forum though I didnt take him up because he started it recently. I too have gone along and started another one Sports Commons (Cheap backlink). I have high hopes for vbulletin as far as indexing goes and am setting a goal of 1 million indexed pages in a year. :D Talk about some coop weight.

    Yeah, I saw teenagerwriters.com but, as you asid, new - and not exactly what I'm looking for.

    Good luck with your forum - though I'd like to say I think you're starting off with way to many topics.
