I am using bsnl evdo and its worth the cost!
750 per/month with around 100-135 kbps of download speed
the best part is its unlimited!

I would like to prefer Tata Photon+, cause it's very cheap to monthly rates and speed is awesome.

It totally depends upon your location. Most of them work well only in few big cities.
But out of them BSNL is cheap and good to use. But yes wireless internet is never as good as wired one in India.

    I second that!
wireless speed keeps on fluctuating while wired one is consistent which is better
I still prefer to go wired, but when you are on go then wireless is the only option

You can get Tata Photon+ or recent one Docomo. They are worth for the cost.
