I have successfully setup my wireless router. Now, I just need to get my laptop connected to it properly!

I have a windows vista business laptop, with built-in bluetooth and wireless access. When I go to add a new device to my host computer, it claims there are no devices ready to be connected. When I try to access the wireless network from my laptop, it says there isn't one.

What's the deal? The wireless router is working...and I have a wireless card...what else is there to do?

Did you get any hardware driver Setup CD with the router ??

Vista sometimes cant do it automatically and needs the Driver to be installed automatically...

Check to see the that wireless switch on your laptop is turned on, sometimes it is a function button, sometimes it is a switch.

actually, I found this out myself after four hours of downloading drivers and being so frustrated that I wanted to throw my computer against the wall.

after four hours, I saw a switch to enable wireless internet. ugh!

I think the worst part was talking to tech support who could barely speak english. eek.
