Wireless network fun!

My friend lives right next door to me, and he doesn't have his wireless network secured. It's open for everyone to see!

So, I connected to it, got his IP address, and launched a DDOS attack on him :D. I disconnected him 10 times before I finally decided I'd call him up and tell him why he couldn't use the internet, haha!

My question is, what else can you do to have fun with people on a wireless network? I have his IP address, so can I telnet to his computer or anything more complex than DDOS'ing?

supprisingly there are thousands of unsecured wireless networks out there. a friend and i drove around for an hour with a laptop and a wireless network card and detection software, and within 18 minutes we had driven past 96 wireless networks, 54 of which were unsecure and if we wanted...had full access too!

Yeah, it's amazing. Mine is unsecured, only because no one else in my town knows anything about it, haha.

Is there any other actions I can take? If I can DDOS his computer, then surely I can do other things as well?

Well, depending on your tech level/experience you could try this one, it is fairly hard to implement but WAY worth the results:

It is awesome and will scare the crap out of your neighbor. Be careful to let him know in time though because if he can't figure it out, he will end up spending hundreds of dollars on fixing it when no one can figure it out ;)
