Wired Magazine Bans Google!

    Looks like Wired magazine today decided to ban Google from all of it's How To Wiki pages today:

    This seems to be in response to a Search Engine Land article that showed a bunch of spammers how to get a free link from Wired:

    Personally I think blocking the Google altogether just to fight spam is a kind of on the extreme side... but hey, if it works for them! :D

    Yea, I'd say it's really extreme.

    Bad decision altogether in my opinoin. They won't get the results
    they're looking for and they'll get much less traffic

    Why don't they fix the exploit instead of targeting google? I think this maybe a PR stunt.
