Looks like Wired magazine today decided to ban Google from all of it's How To Wiki pages today: http://smackdown.blogsblogsblogs.co...am-attack-disallows-everything-with-robotstxt This seems to be in response to a Search Engine Land article that showed a bunch of spammers how to get a free link from Wired: http://searchengineland.com/080111-091521.php Personally I think blocking the Google altogether just to fight spam is a kind of on the extreme side... but hey, if it works for them! -Michael
Yea, I'd say it's really extreme. Bad decision altogether in my opinoin. They won't get the results they're looking for and they'll get much less traffic
