Well, wire transfer can be costly in terms of the service charges especially for small amounts and it does not give the buyer any protection for non-delivery by the seller.

It seems expensive (from one country to another) if you transfer small amounts of money. But for large amounts it does not seem expensive.

Wire Transfer is easy method but expensive, the fees is almost $30 and you also lose on the exchange rates provided by banks.

Each wire costs about $45 incoming plus about $35 for the sender. It may go above in many countries outside euro zone.

banks in US charge around $40 for international wire transfer, how long does it take exactly depend on banks involved, we have cases where wire arrived the same day while in other cases it can take up to 10 days

It is not so.. Wire Transfer is much easier now for outward remittance , here i am speaking about sending money from India.. As per RBI Policies, its hardly a 24 hrs process. done through banks. As i am from Transcorp International Ltd, dedicated to outward remittance i.e sending money outside India. so can help if someone wishes to send money outside India, and There's no risk if all required documents are provided.

Wire is the last choice i would end up to. And it's the safest and fastest way to get paid for larger amounts of money.
