Can a buyer send fake wire transfer to your bank? I know a seller can take someone transfer and run with it...But is it possible to send a fake wire transfer to your bank (seller)? Thanks, NC704Vien
How do you send a fake wire? Also do you think someone with 300+ 100% feedback on ebay will send a fake wiretransfer? plus, if i have his business address and his home address? etc thanks,
99% of the times someone willing to use Wire Transfer as payment method do not have intention to deceive. I don't think he will fake it.
Of course unless the person has some elaborate plan and claim to have send you the wire transfer but have not done so and produce some photoshopped wire transfer documentations. But if they submit the wire transfer request through the bank and it goes through the proper channels, it would get to you. In any case, only complete your end of the bargain when you receive the payment.
once a wire transfer is initiated, all you can do is with the help of your bank you can initiate a investigation for a small fee. If your name does not match to your account or have mismatch information, in such cases you will get a payment reversal. thats my understanding. Any banker here to clear the air?
Yes, that's true that you can get the reversal in case of incorrect name, bank account number, or even incorrect swift code
Hello. The buyer can send fake wire if his bank is supported to online wire transfer option, like citibank for example. thats generally, but a buyer with 300+ ACTIVE feedbacks will not cheat u i think. Thanks
