Wire transfer to India?

    Anybody have successfully transferred money from US to india using wire transfer.

    i have hdfc account and i am expecting a small money from 2co to be sent to my local branch in india using foreign wire transfer.

    how to fill the 2co form with indian bank information?

    Please, I hope somebody from india can help!

    You must possibly contact your bank itself for the branch code and other verification codes. :)

    I don't know specific to India but its only possible when your bank has a SWIFT code assigned to it.


    Go and ask for a SWIFT code in your bank, if they provide it. you can do Wire transfer easily

    For India I guess it is ECNR number? It is usually in the check book or passbook if iremember right
