Which Adsense payment method is best?

  2. Wire Transfer (EFT)

I've just reached my first $100 after about a year of blogging. Now I'm faced with the option of the standard check or wire transfer (EFT). Which is best?

I live in Australia, and was told that an american check would cost $10 to cash. Since my earnings are only $125, and the exchange rate is about 0.95, that doesn't leave much! Is there a surcharge for EFT payments?

    Thanks!

I think standard check is best but wire transfer is also good . Now you have to decide how much you want to spend . I will say go for standard check , most of webmasters use this service .

some banks will also charge you for receiving a transfer. I say go for the one which will cost you less money

I read a thread on here earlier from a guy saying he had to pay $30 off his earned cash to Google for using cheque service, whereas instant bank transfer is free

Do you know what thread that was? I really want to work out now if the bank transfer is free, at least for Australia.

Yes it is, but check looses less money. Don't Australians have the Western union quick cash payment option? It works best for me. It's instant and it's free.

No, I don't have Western Union option. Is that supposed to be on the "change payment method" page like standard, express cheque and EFT?

If I were to decide, I'd go for the wire transfer option.
With the cheque you may be paying less but for that price you'll also assume the risk that the cheque may get lost on its way to your inbox.
And you will end up waiting longer to get the money in hand.
