Wire Transfer fees from an american bank to indian bank

Hi Guys,

Any Idea on the fees and the process for wire transfer from an U.S bank account to an Indian Bank account ? I am sure some big freelancers on the board use wire transfers and will be willing to help and explain the process.

 

There is no fess yeah the person who is sending he/she have to pay little charges.

Wire transfer is good option I quit PayPal these days and using Wire transfer

Each bank have swift code. Some banks use different swift code for US,UK, Europe.

Just first confirm about your buyer from where is he/she sending money and then ask your bank swift code and yeah inform them that you are doing wire transfer

Sen your name, Bank details, swift code to buyer

 

Well fees depends on receiving bank in india, some bank offer it for very small fees and some charge quite high like 25$

 

no one will wire small amounts are u trying to get your paypal funds bank wired ?
