Winter sales are good but summer sales lousy

I sell a product mostly sold in the winter for example "snow tires" My adwords for these products generate almost the same amount of clicks/ctr and bouncerate but in the summer nobody is buying.

Any suggestions what to do? stop the marketing in the summer? Any ideas?

Offer lower prices in the summer...summer special deals, off-season

Lay off on the marketing - every job I've worked at has had poor summer sales. This is why it's good to diversify and sell things that are popular in different seasons.

I'm guessing you're doing affiliate sales and don't have the ability to set the prices - if not, then you should definitely offer summer discounts.

Ok, if I am not missing anything here, are you stupid, or what?

    Just curious.

Why would you try to sell a winter product in the summer, that nobody needs? And, vice versa.

Seems obvious to me that sales would drop of in the summer as your selling a winter product.

Try running special offers in the summer

Did you really expect people to buy snow tires in summer?
Forget offers - only the most anal retentive of people would even think of it in summer. Stop selling winter products in summer, find a summer product to sell. But don't be surprised when nobody is buying sun cream in November.

Actually it would be stupid NOT to offer discounts for winter products in the summer. Look at any sporting good store. Also, summer wear is cheaper in the winter...
