Winows 7 problems

I Just tried to open one of the pages on my site with notepad, the way I've been doing it in XP, but I am not being given the notepad option.

Has anyone run up against this? I suppose I could try it in Dreamweaver but I prefer just editing it in notepad.

    Does anyone have ideas?

    "open with" -- "other programs"

Though you might want to pick up a slightly more robust plaintext editor that doesn't choke on UTF character encodings and actually handles block indent/de-indent properly.

I like Crimson editor, but EditPlus, Notepad++, all great alternatives.

I know, I feel really stupid, but it was just not where I thought it should be and I've had so many insolveable problems that I reacted too quickly. I wish that there was a forum for other kinds of computer issues.
