Winning at Google Adwords LP

Ok, after learning how to use Adwords, and having SOME success, how should I go about creating new campaigns (as far as landing pages)?

Adwords is tough as hell, I mean I'll promote a site which Google lists as the most relevant for given keywords, and they'll slap me for not being relevant enough. HEY GOOGLE, I WAS USING YOUR OWN SPIDER RESULTS! And they still call it irrelevant.

So what do people here do for landing pages? Do they set up a Squidoo lens, a Blogger blog, a review site? How the hell can I get around this f*ing slap?

    Thanks.

landing page needs to have related content for the keywords you are promoting. also, when yo write your ad copy, your title and description have to have the keyword in them for you to get good QS.

best way to do it is to follow your competitor who has been running ads for your niche for a while. analyze that landing page to see how its done. there are lot of resources which you can find online searching google on how to create a good landing page also

True, there is tons of free market research right at your fingertips. Just search the keywords in your niche, find the top ads and the sites they point to and go from there. (Don't copy them word for word because you'll never learn anything that way), but look for similarities between them.

    Thanks for the advice.

The problems I'm having with it though, is either that there are usually no advertisers, or they're largely set up websites (and I have no technical skills, hence asking about Squidoo or Blogger).

    What should I do then?
