    I have a HP Compaq laptop, many of my friends have too. But if we try to install Windows 7, all the battery will be dead after using few months. That's so ridiculous

    I am programmer and always prefer MS Window XP for my programmer and server software. No Software Compatibility issues exist in window xp.

    I think soon we have to roll out to windows 7 or windows 8. So it is possible after 2012, that some software will stop working and for that reason, i guess in that condition we have no choice that swithicng to either windows 7 or 8.

    Win 7 is far ahead of XP...take my word man....
    i worked on xp for like ages and been working on Win 7 for last 6-7 months but i can feel the difference between these two already...

    For some games, XP requires a GFX card, while u can play that game on Win 7 without GFX CARD!!!
