Windows7 is not good at all!!!!!

I used to be on Window XP and that worked really well. Shifted to Win Vista and that was a major mistake. It ate a lot of my resources. It was like all beauty and no brains. Harsh but that's what it struck me as. I'm on Win 7 now and I have to say, it wins over the previous two versions. I like how the folders are organized and my desktop has never been more clear and organized. Win 7 is the winner for me... for now.

 

Works great for me, I love it, I always sung Windows XP's benefits but after building a new machine designed for Windows 7 I love it.

Sorry to hear you are having bad experiences but I don't think it should take that long to get familiar with... maybe you could read a basic tutorial? If you persevere with it I'm sure you'll change your mind.

You are exactly right, because i also suffering using with my Toshiba Laptop. Actually windows XP is best for any work!

 

As you know that when Microsoft lunched xp it went good for about 7 years and then they came with vista. Vista was shit as everyone found. then they came with windows 7 which has both features of vista and xp. I don't think that you can use xp now a days if you need to install new software because many soft wares are not compatible with xp nowadays, you better be smart to use 7, do not install unnecessary software which you don't need;

 

As we merrily click away on our XP computer with our new version of Quickbooks and every other software we use.

 

I'm a linux(ubuntu) guy, I like windows 7. It takes some time to boot, but rest is OK.

 

I use Windows 7 and XP and i can say 7 is any day better than XP in the long run. You might have to get used to Windows 7 coming from XP but its better to work with.

I have installed the Windows 8 Beta and man MS has improved their boot times by 200%. Windows 8 boots faster than Mac Book i have here. Also Windows 8 is lighter on resources than Windows 7. Somehow MS has find ways to improve in the Internet Explorer. IE 10 is way ahead of iE8 or 9.

 

windows 7 is ways better(I actualy love dx10) - idk why you have drivers problem,as at the most cases it is installing them automaticaly.

IT is not lyk that window 7 is much better than XP . it only depends on your uses ....... it is easier also....

I found no problem with it.
Win 7 is stable then Win Xp.

 

I Have work with many OS like 98,XP,XP1,XP2,Window7 But Ilove Window7(OS) .its really good any easy to work with it.I really feel comfortable while working window7 And hope That window 8 will be having more extra feature than window7 & XP. I hope window8 will also good

 

Windows 7 is awesome however power users should have their laptops equipped with a quad core CPU . Also if you're gonna use Windows 7 at least have the decency to buy the license . You'd be surprised to see that unpirated software works a whole lot better .

Windows XP is phasing out. Windows 7 is best and I am using it since a long time. If you have configured it correctly then there should be no issues. If you are just doing normal surfing and chatting then you should better opt for linux as it is safe and works very fast on slower systems.

 

i have always used mac because i feel it really cools my eyes and never a strain.
its difficult to work with windows 7 compared to mac.
