I waited awhile with Vista and when I did get it most of the bugs had been sorted with updates that were available, so I will do the same with w7. I only want it so I can use certain programs that will not run on Vista I have read that W7 has a XP compatible mode that enables you to run older games/programs
that's why i never thought about changing my XP i've sticked with it though there is vista and the fancy Win7 because there gonna be changes i'm not used to
I do use Windows7 Ultimate 64 bit (8GB RAM) on MacBook Pro I can say that this is a best ever OS they have made so far, different from any previous windows and very fast. I can use a XP mode that you get a full licensed XP (SP3) with Virtual PC. No problems, less HD fragmentation. Support for lot of hardware, great bluetooth etc ... It looks a bit like Vista but for sure this is a big improvement on speed (at least 50% better) and requires less resources. All "Vista" users should get a free upgrade to win7 as a compensation for the invested money on the Vista OS that was "garbage" ...
I have used every microsoft OS, and I have to admit that 7 really does open my eyes compared to the rest! I just think its silly its taken them so long to do something that shouldve been done a long time ago! Vista was a total destruction nerd rage for me, it would hog my cpu up! I hear they are already working on the next one, 8! I don't know how they can improve it more!
One of my friend using Windows 7 and it is working very good for him and he says it is also faster than xp. Thats all I can say, but conclusively, it is up to you to form your own opinion, though I have heard some games are hard to play if not impossible to play using Windows 7 setup.
I recently bought my Dell Inspiron 1464 with an I-Core processor and installed Windows 7 (64Bit Edition). I have to say it seemed a little difficult, while trying to get to know things. But in a matter of few days it all came down on the back of my palm. Windows 7 is pro stuff, just have a good PC and mess around with things a little bit. You will definitely find your way around in due time
Win 7 is the best thing that happened with Microsoft since Windows XP.. it is much sleek, faster, better, secure. I just love it.. I am using windows since the 95 ages.. so I know what I am talking about
i use windows7 ultimate on my acer laptop and is verry fast and ok. i was a xp fan in the past but now i have make the leap to w7
Personally, I love Win7... I've not been frustrated at my PC since I installed it (2 months ago) I would way it's equal to XP in terms on speed, but superior in terms on features
