Windows7 is not good at all!!!!!

Recently I got a new IBM laptop with preinstalled windows7, I used to have windows XP in my laptop and I am happy with it, so I thought windows7 will be better.

I have Intel dual core CPU 2.1G, 2G DDR3 DRAM and 250G hard drive, however windows7 sucks. It slowed me down a lot, it has 77 processes running in the background even I do not open anything, wtf is that?

Also I could not find my documents, my computer, those guys changed their name and the way how they used to orgnize my files.

So I am really at loss how to use it, it slowed my work down and I really hate it, I am fond of or get used to XP, so windows7 to me is really a load of rubbish:mad:

or try to formate the win 7 and reinstall it may reslove issue if they had any issue

I think most of the processes would belong to laptop manufacturer. I got HP Pavilion which came with a lot of pre-installed programs that I never used at all.

it sucks on my laptop too. even if i have a 2.0 core 2 duo and 3gb of ram it's still slow .a lot slower then xp!
why don't you install xp? if you have problems with installing xp,you need to add missing drivers to the xp cd

I don't get why you blame Win 7 :). I was one of those, who believe, that XP is the best OS, until I tried Win 7. For me, it is as fast as XP (I use it on laptop with Intel P7350 2Ghz and 4GB ram). Actually, I am completely satisfied with Windows 7. Less crashes, better look, more user friendly - I have nothing to complain about. And I know quite a lot of people who use Win 7 on slower notebooks than mine without encountering any problems as well :)

doesn't come with it, but you can dl it free online. However it froze on my computer, and my specs should definitely be good enough to run it.

Its working great for me. Infact I have a really old LG laptop as well, its 1 gig ram with a celeron, and 32x win 7 works great .

Either there is something horribly wrong with your HDD or maybe your OS is corrupt. Try installing Win XP to check out the working speed.

Windows 7 is very stable than Windows XP, however it eats 2 much resources & Ram as Cmpared to XP.

Never tryed Win 7, but I hope will be better than Vista. I suggest you to keep it like it is, or go back to Xp.

Ever considered Linux, like Ubuntu? It's free, you can try it ;)
