Yeah...you people really need to start reading. Here's another pointless topic because members fail to read the forums. The other topic, identical to this one can be found here: http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=1027978
I'm asking: "Which operating system do you think is best for both personal and business PCs." Not "which one is better"
Right, you should have came up with a different title for the topic since there are already like 3 or 4 of these
I would install Vista on both of my PCs , personal as well as on business . It runs faster than XP and moreover it has too many shortcuts .
I find windows xp doing a perfect job for me...on both personal as well as business machine. I feel no need to take on the headache of upgrading them. Regards, RightMan
XP had a lot less flaws that Vista. Vista is good for a few things though; such as easier control over access privileges etc... So that could be a better option for businesses... Personally, Vista winds me up so much I'd recommend XP... But they're both a nuisance.. 98 was the only complete OS Microsoft have made. They rush their releases too much now. You may aswell go opensource and use Linux, lol.
IMO xp is the best, vista needs greater resource and many corporates has been downgrade their os to xp
Excuse me, mayvbe you could research somethings out here. The gap between XP and Vista was the longest between 2 successive versions ever, almost 7 years.
Maybe we could. 7 years is a long time, I agree. But if they'd spent the last few months taking careful steps to finalise the OS, instead of promising it by the end of the month, then rushing it, then they would produce better OS's. 10 years could be wasted on an OS if they rushed the last few months. And plenty of people who understand the importance of finalisation will agree with me on that.
