I have Vista Home Premium. It's sort of a love/hate relationship with me and Vista at the moment -- one day I'll love it for looking all pretty and being relatively fun to use, and the other I'll absolutely despise it for not running a particular program that would run fine on XP.

At the moment I'll have to say that XP is much much better than Vista. Vista has potential, it's just that there's way too many software/hardware issues to make it worthwhile.

I haven't tried Vista yet so I would vote for XP. I heard Vista slow down your PC.

stuff vista, maybe in 5 years time when it's about to be changed to something else, it might have all the bugs fixed

Still a XP user. But If I manage to save enough and buy me a hardware upgrade I'll switch to vista.

I have been for vista since it came out, but i never used it but i liked it (watched videos of it etc. ), but when i bought my new PC 1 month ago it came with vista and IT SUCKS! Everything is slow, photoshop takes forever to open and other things the security is better than XP but XP is much faster.

I'm using vista right now. But I think XP is much better because there is still a lot of problems with vista.

Vista is yet another bloated newer piece of software. You need 2 gigs of ram and it will still run slow. Why use it, only for the beauty of it ?

I would always go speed and reliability. XP is pretty reliable, I am using it for more than 4 years.
