I, too, am still very happy with my Windows XP Professional. But when the time comes when I really have to upgrade, I will go to Windows 7. I tested the Release Candidate and I was very happy with it, too.

I was using XP until 2 months ago, but now I've switch to Win 7 and it's a good decision after all. So my vote goes to Win 7

I havw tried all three operating systems. I like windows 7 so I ll rate that as number 1, followed by XP. Vista is simply crap

7 is improved version of XP. Vista undoubtedly failed.

Yeah, I agree that XP OS is the best. For me Vista also is great. I've been using Vista and XP everyday. In the office I use XP but at home I use Vista. They are all the same :)

XP is better. but most hackers and viruses target XP than vista. However I like to use XP.

XP is good, but windows will stop its updates in the future. Vista is one of the worst windows versions I've ever worked with - slow and not stable. At the moment I'm working with windows 7 - it's great and it's the latest, so you will get updates for a long time!

I'm currently using Windows 7 and I'm loving it. It is fabulous! But if your RAM is 1GB only, I suggest you use XP. XP is great too! I kinda don't like Vista, for some weird reasons. I encountered a lot of software issues when I was still using Vista.

windows 7 is like combination of vista, xp, and mac in a good way.
most of function looks like vista,
    got high performance like xp,
and got the view like mac.
    I like it.
