    IMHO 7 has the bells and whistles, especially visually. As far as whats underneath the hood, I havent used it long enough, but my GUESS is its less user accessible/configurable. The menus are not in the places you are used to and often it takes more clicks to get to the power user features.

    I never got my internet up and running with Vista (NIC wouldnt work, or some other problem, I dont know) but it seemed to me to be all about the visual pop, like MS was directly trying to compete with a MAC's look and feel.

    I dont have XP on my personal machines, but I think XP is more utilitarian. In other words, its not here to look pretty/fancy/new. Its here to work (as well as windows can).

    I'm still on XP sp 2, but I'm thinking to upgrade on 7. I find Vista one of Microsoft's most bad products.

    not vita But i support XP and windows 7 ,vista is too slow and xp or windows 7 are too fast but windows 7 is more faster then xp so not vista

    First its xp then i am with windows 7 because vista is not so good and its makes your pc slower other wise windows 7 is more then faster from vista and xp

    I still use windows vista on my home laptop & desktop but
    I did play around with Windows 7 and I liked the ability to see
    the inside of documents without having to open them. Very
    handy.

    I agree that Windows 7 will got an higher votes but I didn't agree that XP will defeat Vista.

    i think a lot of us like win xp because it's our friend for a long time , so its not easy to leave it ,, but the time is for win 7 , and that make us pressed to use it !!
