    Yeah yeah
    you have a PR4 machine.

Although Vista is equipped with some high end stuff
Still XP is used by most. Vista has some good stuff mate
Like Vector graphics which makes your computer less slow.
If Vista used Bitmap, no one can use it with those graphics.

Vista is way better than XP. Buy a new computer with 2GB of ram or more and your set. I guess to all of you who are complaining you don't remember having to buy a new PC switching from 98 to XP? I don't consider a computer with 1GB of ram a "high end" machine, hell, even my laptop has 2GB in it.

to have a less bug filled product

I've seen Vista working well with a clean install but doing an upgrade can be a huge mistake (my vista rant here) I'm still without sound and scanning capabilities which is a real pain.

False. My laptop is nothing special and Vista works fine. I have a Toshiba Satellite A100-VA3 with a 1.6GHz Intel Dual-Core processor and 1gig of RAM.

Vista isn't any better yet, still to many issues with drivers. You need a PC with 2GB of ram to run it decently...

Anyone who says Vista is a resource hog has absolutely no idea what they're talking about, and frankly isn't qualified to make an argument to support that idea.

Vista isn't all that great, until they fix some of the compadibility issues, it'll be shelved by me. No problems running it though when I did...

The compatibility issues aren't Microsoft's fault. It's the lazy developers who have not come out with Vista compatible drivers/software.

I'm using Vista business and have no problems so far.
However for a laptop it's so heavy so I've upgraded to 2 Gigs memory.

Vista's not so good in my opinion... I've run it (beta) and then switched right back to XP. I presume the stable version is similar to the beta?
