Windows XP and OEM software.

    I was thinking about buying windows XP pro edition.
    But I was confused with OEM software.
    What is that?Is it legal to buy OEM software.
    Because I saw most of the item sell on ebay is OEM
    software.

    What would you recommend me?

    OEM software stands for Original Equipment Manufacturer Software and I don't think there is a problem in buying it.

    OEM Softwares are those softwares which are specially prepared for certain hardwares by the manufacturers, for example when you buy a notebook from DELL you get the OEM Copy of WindowsXP specialized for DELL :) You will find slight changes in retail and oem copies :)

    Buying an OEM software will not be any problem for you. :)
