Windows XP 64

    I have an AMD turion x64 processor , should i go forthe windows xp on 64 bites? some people say it will be a very good idea others that my system will crash more often ...

    Anyway , none o them are real expert... because of that i am asking this question here :D

    Biggest issue is driver support, if you can verify that all of your hardware has XP64 drivers then it should be smooth sailing.

    Are there any compatibility differences between the two? It's strange that I haven't heard much about XP 64; I would think there would be a significant performance increase in going to 64-bit, but since I haven't heard much about it I'd have to assume that's not actually the case.

    I have an laptop ... so if it came in with an x64 CPU , then it shouldn't be any problem ...

    Not really true... But whatever, you should definitely do it, as soon as possible. Everything will work fine right away, highly recommended.
