    linux can never compete with windows, until it comes with solitaire, minesweeper and an animated bootscreen! :rolleyes:

    I cannot, in good conscience, participate in the poll because I have zero experience with linux. Now if the question were which do you prefer? I would choose windows because that's what I use and what I know.

    I'm not familiar with it either but if I had to guess I would say that Linux runs circles around windoze.

    case in point: BSOD

    I love linux, I do. But I've switched back to Windows based on ease of use and interoperability

    For a desktop windows hands down.

    Linux is good for some things, web hosting... Its a major pain to configure.
