I understand having a Windows VPS service, is just like your Windows on your desktop, except it's on a server. Correct? If so, I know I can download and exceute a Windows program on my desktop, how is downloading and executing done on a Windows VPS server? Essentially, how would I downlaod to my Windows VPS? Thanks.
Thanks for your reply. Execept it doesn't look the same. On MY Desktop in Plesk 8.1, It shows: Server Info Tools Statistics Favorites How/where can I download a windows program? Thanks
You are not connecting to the server using Remote Desktop Connection (RDC). You looking at the control panel only
I will advice that you email to your provider and ask them how to connect in to the RDC. When you are connected, then you can see what you usually see in your desktop
How do I connect to Remote Desktop instead of through Plesk? My VPS provider has given me an IP address. The first thing I see is the Plesk log-in. I log into Plesk > Clients > Domain > remote desktop > Remote Desktop Terminal Session, I click OK, a small screen appears titled Plesk Internet Explorer, I log in and see a desktop with three icons on it: Recycle Bin, Plesk 8.1 and Secure Conf. At this point aren't i connected to the Remote Desktop? So i Google from there, go to a web site select something to download, but when the box asks me to Save or Run the download, the only choice for Save shows only my comouter desktop choices. Help, please. How can I download to my Remote Desktop? Thanks.
