    unfortunately its window 7 ita more then better from vista nad its works so faster then vista also it has a good looking interface so win7 is best

    well m using window 7 ultimate edition and working awesome.... and i think Windows 7 is better than Vista..... but dont know whether it will run on 512Mb Ram... I will suggest you to increase your RAM for the better performance of the windows because Windows 7 is amazing no doubt but its minimum requirement does not meet 512Mb Ram....

    i have used windows vista for 4 month, then i used windows ( ultimate ) 7 for more than 2 years.
    I prefer the performance of windows 7. My Laptop has only 1gb ram, and it worked well. Except game condiction. windows 7 always take more than 50% of 1 gb ram, so it's difficult to play game with low ram in windows 7.
    Vista is too bad, it's performance is.... bla bla bla. But i like some function of it.
    And now, i go back to XP , i think XP has it value ( best performance , low ram require ), it's the best :)
