I've been running Windows 7 RC for almost 2 months now and love it. I actually downgraded to XP when Vista came on my laptop - but I am very happy with 7.
I am trying to write a review on it but never can seem to finish it :)

Currently on Windows 7 Ultimate RTM (courtesy of my company :D). Will be getting the family pack for home premium when it gets out.

I've noticed that Windows 7 may sometimes give errors when shutting down and I've found the cause (at least what caused it in my situation.)

I would recommend getting spybot search & destroy if your getting a popup error when trying to shutdown windows 7 RTM. Sometimes duplicate entries are in the registry, hence the error as seen in my attachment. To solve, simply remove one of the duplicated entries.

Yes, and I think that Windows 7 will be worse. But, yeah Windows XP is the best but, I would say Vista >_>

I would certainly go with windows 7, vista was extremely bloated and weighed down with applications. Windows 7 is much lighter and faster!

I've been testing Windows 7 has surprised me the truth, much better than vista and that which is in its infancy even

    Like someone else said

    7 > XP > Vista

I never actually used vista, since it's not a real operating system in my eyes, just a thrown together piece of garbage.

c0rrup: People like you are the main problem. They think Vista sucks, because a few people tried the beta, when it first came out and said that it sucks, because it clearly wasn't finished (longhorn). Others never really gave it a shot and even if they tried it, they were so convinced it's worthless, that they still believe that. Vista IS and WAS a great improvement over Windows XP and Windows 7 is only a next generation of Vista - better optimized, nicer looking, more stable etc. (but obiously it's based on Vista).
Microsoft had to launch Windows 7 so soon, because they needed something (ANYTHING really), that isn't named Vista and even if they were selling the exact same system under differend name, it would still be a success (only because people hate Vista and they are waiting for something new).
