Windows Vista did not fail, it was released at the wrong time when people are obsessed with Macs. PCs are Bad, MACS FTW "the kind of things that kept Vista from being a successful product"

I've just installed SP3 for Windows XP and it work fine for me. But I want to buy a laptop, and I don't know what to do: buy one now with Vista or wait Windows 7...

Windows 7 looks very promising but I have got so used to Windows Vista that I really can't adapt to another operating system.

On the RC version right now. Trust me. Once you use windows 7 you will not want to go back to XP. Really smooth operating system and I haven't even used the final version

For those saying vista was a failure, it wasn't. It worked perfectly fine for me with no problems. People just started saying it sucks and failed because someone else was saying that, who in turn was saying it because someone else was saying it.

It's like people who drink coffee just to say the drink it, but they don't really like it.

I'm using windows 7 and will be using windows 7 because it's the next gen OS. In my opinion, Xp is a thing of the past.

I especially like the unique windows 7 features compared to vista.

    Agree. It is plain propaganda.

been using Vista for 1.5 years already feel comfortable with it. Tried the Beta of W7 and it seems better in performance and the interface looks like Vista, so I'll migrate to 7 after it is released in Oct.

Windows 7 is much advanced, promising and will be with more added features and advantages. Always try the new one, as it will give you more value
