Windows vista doesn't remember folder views

i have this problem for a while now when i close a folder in vista and reopen it i find out that all the view settings (window size) and display settings (icon type) have been lost! how do i solve this problem? any suggestions?

 

This problem can be solved when you run this REG file you can download it from here:

it will tweak the registry file that handles folder settings.

 

Maybe your not logged in as administrator and don't have the permissions.
