I made that comment based on the fact the name is no longer vienna it is windows 7... i.e. no more v names. Windows 7 is a dumb name if you ask me.
Just Microsoft getting greedy. They should try to imporve and send out upgrades for Vista rather than producing a newer version of windows. Hopefully Windows 7 will be Microsoft's chance to learn from their mistakes of Vista. Who knows, it might be quite good. Still another couple of years though.
Well you are right, and your not the only one most people havent upgraded to vista and taking about a replacement shows that vista failed!
Why does everyone hate windows vista? I upgraded from xp and my computer starts up much faster, loads applications much faster and just generally looks cooler The only problem with vista is that some older applications do not work correctly. However from experience all the ones worth installing have worked fine, and anyway a mac has exactly the same problem.
I don't hate vista. I use it every day and love it. It just requires good hardware. The penny pinchers hate Vista. Those that want to get away with paying $300 for a computer and thinking it will be a good computer.
I wouldnt say you even need good hardware to run it I just like my pc to be as clutter free as it can be, I've already got enough to deal with on the PC no sense adding to it, I'll admit its a great OS In itself and i cant wait to see what Ms has in store for us. And apparently its ahead of schedule
