I know it's kind of contradicting to love the Mac Interface, but if you don't have the money to buy a mac or simply prefer windows as an OS, here are some cool programs that combine the two. You may or may not be aware of: Launchy Launchy is a free windows utility designed to help you forget about your start menu, the icons on your desktop, and even your file manager. Launchy indexes the programs in your start menu and can launch your documents, project files, folders, and bookmarks with just a few keystrokes! Similiar to: MAC OSX Spotlight but limited to start menu applications and some other cool features. Cost: FREE Screenshots: And my personal favorite: Object Dock ObjectDock is a program that enables users to organize their programs and running tasks into a dock. ObjectDock enables users to have more control over how they organize their desktop. Rather than have a bunch of icons on the desktop, these icons can be put into docks. ObjectDock can also be used to replace the Start bar entirely freeing up valuable screen real-estate. Similiar to: MAC OSX XDock Cost: FREE Screenshots: =================== Object Dock is fully customizable (Can make the background transparent, alter animations, zooming, etc.) and mimics the OSX dock to a T. Enjoy!
ye? didn't know .... don't use that thing ... vista I mean Launchy is working good in XP .... quick access to everything I need .... now it is time to clean desktop
I didn't upgrade to Vista yet, however, I know Vista has a similiar program like Expose in Mac. I forget the name of it though (it's not within the OS itself).
I will download it on my other operating system i ran on this computer. So if it mess up my os i can just delete that one
Can you delete it if you don't want it to stay that way? Is it easily removable? Has anyone safely uninstalled it? It looks yummy
It's easy to uninstall it. It's not a crap full of adwares and viruses. I have been using since October 2006.
