windows server and getting no help from my host

    hi im on a windows server and getting no help from my host!
    i need to know what code do i use to fowerd my none www to my www for my domain ..

    i was told i cannot use a .htaccess they say that dose not work qwith a windows server!

    i have been stuck on this for weeks.. can any one help?

    Have you tried using a simple PHP redirect on your non-www domain? I know it's not the best solution, but if your host won't cooperate, it might be your quickest solution:

    
    header("location: http://www.server.com"); exit(0);

    im not sure! i dont even know how to put that code on?

    should i open up notepad and pop it on in my main dir?

    i wonder why my host will not help me with my vps.. its godaddy

    never host with godaddy , a support that answer after 24 is BS ...

    Your better off with a manage vps with another host.

    The are tons out there, if you need help on finding one reply and i will respond with few from my list.

    Godaddy hosting is the WRST hosting out there... and unless you have a particular reason to choose a Windows server, you should stick with Linux.

    i have a godaddy vps becouse i use .asp on some old sites of mine..
    i see every one have a fast fix of changing host but! it takes me around 2 months to change. i still have not got all of my sites off the godaddy sharded. to the vps..

    is there any way to add a 301 on a windows server ?

    i need to make my none www in my domain to my www.

    please if anyone knows how to do this it would be nice.. thanks much
