Hello everyone, I've been considering purchasing a new Windows 7 Phone. Not now, but maybe some time in the future. I've owned a Zune HD for a couple of months now, and I love it. It's a lot cheaper then the iPod touch, the Zune marketplace is amazing, the quality is awesome, and even though the mobile browser is IE, it still works quite well. One thing I also especially love about the Zune, is its landscape keyboard. I can almost type as fast on it as I can on my keyboard now. Assuming this is the same on WP7, this would be a dream come true for texting. If you haven't heard already, the Zune is pretty much being "discontinued", as it is being implemented into WP7. My main problem here is I currently use a pre-paid phone. I only pay around $30/month for unlimited texting, and unlimited talk after 9PM and on weekends I believe. I also have unlimited mobile to mobile if I remember correctly. Honestly I talk on the phone so rarely I can't remember. But basically, it's cheap. It's using the old Alltel pre-paid system from before Verizon bought them out. I know AT&T is one of WP7's primary endorsed companies, but their prices are horrible. I don't know what all companies support WP7 either, but I'd love to hear them if you know. Also, if you are currently a WP7 user, I'd love to get some reviews from you as well. Thanks!
Microsoft has agreements with a short list of manufacturers but I believe this list will be soon enlarged. Please check the current list of Windows Phone 7 manufacturers and models I guess Samsung and HTC is is doing good with Phone 7
Dude, the WP7 phones are amazing. If you have the cash, then i would recommend the Dell Streak Pro. You can get the HTC HD2 at a lesser price. If you would like to tune down the cost more, then you should probably check out the HTC Mozart and the LG Optimus. Pretty awesome phones.
Windows phones make up only 3% or 7% of the market place (forgot which) and have less than 5% of the apps any other phone does. I don't have a Windows phone but, from what I read, they're easy to use but less flexible and fewer functions in the form of apps that any other phone has. fwiw, when Nokia announced their partnership with Microsoft, their share price dropped over 30% and 1000 employees walked off the job.
Windows phone 7 is new dimension in technical world. It is providing smarter, faster and outstanding service for the consumer...
Highly recommend HTC HD7 and HTC Mozart for Windos 7 Phone OS. As for Carriers, sorry I don't have much of an idea which carries are supporting those models as I'm not resident in the US
i heard windows7 phone is so good then i gonna replace it with my htc desire any advice regarding this
I like this phone, I'm using LQ Quantum. WP7 OS needs to change something but I think its better than iPhone. Connecting with people via FB, MSN is very well.
