I think your website is not for helping man.

What resolution is it designed for??? I use 1024x768 and it is small for your site.
First of all if you want to help the user, you should have a user friendly site and not just a site or forum, whatever it is.

    Suggestion for having more signups

    Hi,

thanks i am going to make the width smaller, to fit atleast 1024x678. What do you mean by suggestion for having more signups? like a reason for users to signup. Do you think sub pages designed purely for useful tutorials, tips, tweaks and downloads would be useful?

yeah why not, but if you want the user enter and register, have the forum on the first page,

when I entered it seemed to me that I entered pchw and not pchwforum

i guess that the forum is the main part of the site so it should be shown first, bring the help to them, dont make them look for it

I would loose the google, especially in that location until the forum is established. This might promote more signups.

    Site looks great now.

You just need to find ways to properly promote it. I like the idea or access to the download area. I would lead with that. Develop it well and post about on other forums, respond to help questions, ie, Yahoo Answers, etc with links to helpful information. Work this forum as well. Post helpful responses to questions any chance you get. Also check out the forums on www.sitepoint.com and any other forums.
