Windows Partition without any loss ?

Hi guys & gals,
my lappiee has 40gb capacity...,. i partitioned it in two. 20gb 20gb each volume. Now i installed windows and lot of programs still i need to install some softwares but 20gb is not enough . I want to merge it without any dataloss please suggest me... any softwares or any metods to merge both volume..

 

i dont think its possible without a reformat though you can search google for partition manager

I think this will work.

put your windows xp cd and select the first booting device as cd-rom from the bios setup menu.

now at one stage,the setup will ask where to install the xp since it detects that windows is already present.[it will ask you to select a partition].select your unwanted partition and press 'c' to delete it...

 

Partition Magic works well, in my experience.

 

It is not possible to merge the partitions without a format. Take a backup of your data, and do all the experiments you wish to
