OK here is my problem i have just got 3 old laptops and every one of them is saying no operating system found

    How do i solve this?

All the laptops have the microsoft product key but i do not have a windows recovery disk.

The laptops are fujitsu siemens lifebook c series running on xp pro , i have tried to download a recovery cd but it comes in 6 parts

    example

    disk1
    disk2
    disk3
    disk4 etc

How do i burn this to a cd? is it one per cd? or burn all of them to one cd

Here is a picture of what it is saying

I have lots of different harddrives so i have tried swopping them around etc and still nothing is happening.

Does anyone know how to fix this? it cant be a harddrive error not on all 3 of them can it?

Does anyone have a disk opr something to fix this? or do you know where i can get one? microsoft want £45 for support lol its not worth it the laptops are only worth about £5 each not even that i started this as a hobby and now i cant do it it is really annoying me

If you need anymore info or pictures let me know and i will edit this post

    Thanks

    This problem occurs if
-The BIOS does not detect your hard disk.
-Or The hard disk is damaged.
-Sector 0 of the physical hard drive has an incorrect or malformed master boot record (MBR).
-Some third-party programs or disk corruption can damage an MBR.
    - An incompatible partition is marked as Active.
This is a Bios problem and should be thoroughly checked and corrected.
Try Windows 98 boot startup disk and go to c prompt and check if Windows files are missing, get those files from internet, or try recovery disk
