    Does anyone remember the windows console command that displays the external ip?

    Something along the lines of IPCONFIG but that may just show local adressess, if my memory serves me correctly there isn't a windows command to show your external IP. If ipconfig doesn't help you can just go to http://www.whatismyip.org/

    you are right, ipconfig just shows the local adress. At windows 98, the command was the "winipcfg" but i cant find the new one :(

    is there an alternative option to see my ip through windows?
