    Hey all,
so I noticed that Windows 8 is CHEAP as hell. But my question is, is it worth it? Who has it? And what are your thoughts? Is it really suitable for people with touch screens?
    Thanks!

It works better for touch enabled displays but it is perfectly usable without one. There is a learning curve because you need to learn some keyboard shortcuts to get things done much faster than you can do it with your mouse.

It uses much less resources so it will run better than Windows 7.

I would recommend to upgrade if you are willing to learn new ways to use your computer but it is worth it

Of course, Windows 8 is very cheaper and most Innovative operating system from Windows 8. I love to have it, soon.

In my opinion Windows 8 is great, but only for touchscreen devices.

It's hard to get use to Windows 8 but I'm using it for like a month now, and I think it's great.

I don't really like Windows 8, it's too complicated. I prefer Windows 7. If it ain't broke, there is no need to fix it :)

Complicated? Only UI has changed a bit.

I had downloaded it in beta and didn't like it. Although it still does have a regular desktop(even though it looks as if the desktop has been removed)

I'm using original Windows8 Pro and it's pretty good.
Without touch screen it's doing good for me.

As with all other things, windows 8 takes some getting used to. Use it as your main OS for a couple of days and you will forget all the rest.
