Windows 8

Hi, I am eagerly looking forwards the launch of Microsoft windows 8. This must be more user friendly and classy than the windows 7. Is there anybody who can answer me about the launching date of this great product. I will be highly thankful to the person who can contribute in this regard.

 

There is no fixed release date but Microsoft hinted that it might come out around october...

 

All the greate product are being launched in the Autumn. I don't know if windows will be released this Autumn or the next year.

 

The Windows 8 Consumer Preview will be available February 29th. I got the information from the official msdn blog:

tell now microsoft has launched Beta verstion .....but for th finel version it will be in next October.

i think the date o your project should be an official holiday like 23 march or sunday...

 

The final version of Windows 8 will be released on the last quarter of 2012.

 

It would be released in Sept or Oct of 2012.

 

Can anyone tell me that is that Consumer preview has an expiry date?

 

Anyone excited about windows 8 release? I heard it's great. You can check out the preview on youtube.

 

I tried prebeta and tested it. Its waste OS for desktop and laptop. I think it will be big flop next to vista.

Some friends tried the customer preview and it seems quite good . However in typical Microsoft style their OS will only shine after SP1 is released , but so far it does look like the next big thing .
