I installed windows 8 way in the beginning and it was crazy bad for gamers... Anyone out there can tell me how is it today? Have they improved on it in any way?
Bad in terms of what? I've been using Windows 8 for a while now and none of the games I have played so far have had any (literally) problems.
Windows 8 is not good for gaming zone. It is not user friendly for users. Window 7 is best fro gaming and also window XP is good for gaming.
I believe when we are not used to anything it seems difficult to handle it, but after sometimes when we get use to it. It becomes much easier to use it.
for one, the constant minimization that someone sometimes do from multitasking from a game to go to internet browser for example, we need to go through several menus to be able to do everything. The desktop also should be the central part, and now it just looks like a freaking cell phone witch i hate btw. It goes on, but to me this is the main fault
As everyone moves towards touchscreen, windows follows the trend, the last windows for real computers with real keyboards is windows 7...
that alt + tab is nice for someone who never used windows 8 from the beginning... for gamers is a headache, but hey all input is appreciated.
You are not using Windows 8 that's the problem. I have used Windows 8 for more than six months. No problem with games or with work. May be your PC was infected with virus, or you may be using pirated Windows8 which may contain virus/malware.
Sorry, but I still don't get your point. Can you please name at least 1 (valid) thing (action, preferably related to "gaming") that you can do in Windows 7 and can't in Windows 8?
every time i had to minimize the game to do something else i had to go through 3 menus and 3 more to go back t the game this using Alt+tab btw. its annoying enough that made me return to win 7 until its fixed... that's what i was asking from the start, how is it is it still the same and has suffered alot of improvements?
I don't know what are you talking about right now, but it is not Windows 8. Why not save up some time and skip a few replies to actually try it first?
There is no anything ''bad'' in Windows 8.. Actually, I recommend it, but I see you give up with no trying...Don't say later that Windows 8 sucks and you don't even try it..
