Windows 7 vs. Windows XP

I think windows xp and 7 are kinds close... Atleast for what I do.. Not worth the upgrade in my opinion..

low source, but very faster than xp..

this is pointless, the 10 year diff is like comparing ME to XP,
its amazing how ignorant people are, to things like usability, features, and I'm not talking eye candy.

OMG XP > 7 IN 0.01 SPEED, guess what, its 10 years newer, compare dos to XP maybe?, one would assume hardware has matured... your not using the same hardware that you did when you first ran XP.

 

I've been using Windows 7 Home Premium for a week now and i'm impressed.
It runs very fast and i've had no problems with it yet.

 

Agreed! it goes to show the true performance legacy of xp and how it's taken so long to
create a better OP and personally I think it's only firmware technology that's brought
along win7, xp has been a true friend to me over the years regardless of how the mass's
perceive it.

Why are people comparing Windows XP to Windows 7 when Windows 7 Pro and upwards has XP Mode so that your XP apps can run?

Seems pointless to compare them!

Oh! Win7 in US is 30$ in China need 60$ ! The same BASIC....

i preffered windows 7..it seem i love it because it faster than xp

 

Sod Mirco$oft Windows 7 none of my computers are powerful enuf, to runs that crappy mac rip-off.

 

I think windows 7 is pretty good, least compare to vista but yep xp is still best because there are some glitches in win7 which xp never had.

 

Well I haven't got Windows 7 yet so I couldn't really comment. As far as I know Windows 7 is the best operating system Microsoft has done to date.

 

i switched from xp pro to windows 7 ultimate and i dont regret it.

 

I tried Win 7 for couple of days and had to revert back to Win XP bcoz I had it start crashing when ever I udes Photoshop or Dreamwever . I think it' bcoz my pc is kindda old now. it's a P4 3.0 GHz n 2G Memory.
Im putting togathe a new one(with new i7 processor). will give it a try then

 

I will stick with xp until windows7 can prove it can do the job better, huh.

 

You can easily upgrade your OS from XP to Windows7. The only thing you will need is 1 GB Ram in your PC. Also the cost is affordable. You don't think so much, mate.

I think Windows 7 is good in all respects as , its spped is fast , it is reliable too. In cost perspective I dont know , Resources are same as XP

 

Windows Xp is better than windwos 7. I feel more comfort with Xp than 7.
