Windows 7 Starter

    Can I use windows 7 starter edition in my notebook? My notebook model is TOSHIBA Satellite L510.

    I am using Windows 7 Ultimate, its good - I haven't used other w7 editions so can't comment on them

    Since it comes with Windows 7, it can run Windows 7. Any edition. (The requirements for Starter are lower than for any other edition.)

    The question is why you'd want to. You gain nothing by downgrading from the Home Premium edition it comes with.

    I am using windows 7 starter and never buy a netbook with this system. It gives methe same problems and even wallpaper can not be changed... :/

    Only 2 Gb`s ram, if you have run some programs. Don`t install win 7. This laptop is to old for this. Install ex. Win XP or Linux.
