Windows 7 PreBetas Coming Out in Late October: Official name .....Windows 7!!

    i heard that Windows 7 is going to be net based. Hopefully the database storage system will not be the same as vista.

    I'm on XP Pro and never had a problem. I think it is the best os they made so far.
    Granted, Vista looks pretty nice, but I know too many people having troubles with all kind of apps half-running on it. By the time they release Windows7, Vista won't be a problem anymore. I'll switch to it when I buy my next computer in about 2-3 years...

    Heh. Windows7 is Vista with trimmings. Aren't you guys glad you bought Vista this year so you can throw it away next year? And before anyone says "it came with my PC", no, you paid a couple hundred bucks for it whether you know it or not.

    will going to have a try of it. Windows 7 pre-beta required activation using the previous vista beta testing activation code, for those vista beta tester, can use your CD-key to activate the windows 7.
