For all of those interested and those who do not know yet Microsoft is officially launching Windows 7 today. There has been a substantial amount of positive feedback from this operating system unlike their Vista offering (not sure what they were thinking), but it seems they got it right this time. What are your thought on the new OS?
They launch it today? Are you sure?I have heard that they have already launched it for some time. But I haven't used it,I only have the experience of using win server 2003.It's good and easy to manage.Maybe I will pay more attention to 2007.
I saw it at Best Buy this morning but was confused about backwards compatability. It says it is compatible with Vista (whoopee) and if you want it to work with programs designed for XP you had to download some XP virtualization program and needed a processor that could handle it??
One of my friends had beta version couple month ago already. He said works much faster than Vista. As for me, no thanks, I am in love with my mac desktop since I made switch about year and half ago.
i am right now happy with Windows XP, it might be the time to switch to Windows 7. more information: http://www.webmastercrunch.com/technology-news/microsoft-windows-7-released-177/
