Wow.. it looks amazing... With Vista, I'm using 4GB Ram and it is fast. I think by 2010, Min will be 4BG and max can be up to 8BG or 16GB ram supported by certain motherboards. It should be atleast x128 or x256 family there.. is it possible? well anything is possible for microsoft and intel.

2010 seems kind of far fetched.
I heard rumors it was being released mid to late 2009.

And you don't need them in Linux either.

4GB to run Windows7?! I was not aware of that! Now, you are listening to a guy who runs Linux with a PIII and 256Mb of ram for everything I do and I'm really having a tough time listening to that!

The Curmudgeon has said that Windows7 needs to be great out of the gate or it will be the end of Microsoft. Personally, I said the decline of Microsoft started about a year ago.

looks great.. but i bet performance must suck.. i mean 4GB of Ram?.. thats pretty silly for an OS..

i would much rather take performance than how it looks.

If its really true that it will need 4GB of RAM and 20 GB of hard disk space - then MS can kiss my butt goodbye - I'll take any linux distro over that.

I don't want to have to buy a monster machine just to be able to switch it on ... :/

Im running windows 7 (beta 3) on one of my computers (kinda cool), and it only requires 2GB RAM. Still a few bugs (mostly internet problems), but it is still better than VISTA.

The pictures look nothing like the real one. I suppose they are fake or maybe i can change the theme somewhere (?).
