Is Windows 7 worth the $120 upgrade (that is for the Home version)? Why not just wait and buy a new machine with it rather than spending money on an upgrade?
I extremely don't like the taskbar (how it doesnt show the name of the process that is running, but just the icon)
Windows 7 uses the same kernel, I noticed close to similar speeds that Vista x64. Um anyway to get the sidebar like vista ?
I've heard this too from buddoies of mine that use 7. I've seen it in action, and it looks much faster than Vista and far less cumberosme. I'm still on XP though (especially since Vista, and I think Windows 7 doesn't allow you to download music or something).
If talking about vibrant and stability, I'm sure Vista 32bit Black Edition 2009 will be significantly much better all versions of Windows 7 or Vista other

It's sad that Microsoft has so much trouble making an appealing OS upgrade that people still prefer to use an OS that has been around for the better part of a decade. It's a safe bet with Microsoft to just skip every other major OS upgrade: 98 was decent, ME was crap, XP was good, Vista is crap, 7 appears to have potential.
