Just installed Windows 7 a few hours ago and have been lovin' it ever since... It's running really good and way faster than Vista ever did.

I got all the drivers I needed working for it... Pretty much all the drivers that worked for Vista works for Windows 7.

It rocks so far... Will let you know in about a week if I still feel that way. lol ;)

I've installed Windows 7 64bit to my Toshiba U505 a week ago. I got this OS from my campus agreement with Microsoft.

So far there's no problem and hopefully there are no significant problems in the future.

Sure is. It's quicker and far less annoying out of the box than Vista with far fewer "are you sure?" popups.

I heard a lot of negative things about vista, so much that I still use xp. I am hoping win 7 will turn out to be better than vista. If I continue to hear and read good reviews I will probably go with it, but I still like to wait plenty of time before jumping into a new os. Good to hear you like it and it is working for you so far.

    One word. Torrents.

Wow. Windows7 is actually an upgrade. They have done so much to improve usability, not just with rearrangements, but also with the core Windows shell, copy-pasting into boxes, they'd made the GUI bug free. It's crisp, smooth, and responsive.

I am in love with Windows7, and I haven't booted into any other OS for long. But maybe that's because of the Dreamweaver CS4 usage :p

I have been a beta tester of Windows 7. To be honest Windows 7 is anyday better than Vista but the RTM release which is on MSDN is not as fast as Beta. Beta somehow was faster than the MSDN RTM release!

Windows 7 is better than Vista, perhaps so, but Windows XP is better than Windows 7.

Hmm I wouldn't say it's a mega huge improvement from Vista. Maybe my hardwares were already too good on Vista (3gb with all the spiffy hardwares), can't really feel much improvement using Windows 7 Ultimate right now, except less memory load I guess.

But it seems that logging on to Windows takes slightly longer in 7 compared Vista. (And so far my comp unexpectedly hanged thrice since 1 month ago, which was never a problem I encountered while still running windows vista last time)
